My SO’s mom is a piece of work. She won’t reach out to my mom about anything. Hasn’t wanted anything to do with the shower and hasn’t asked her if she needed help. And she refuses to rsvp to the shower. He texted his entire family asking everyone to rsvp(cuz they’re the only ones who havnt) and his mom still won’t do it. Just because she’s his mom and the babies grandmother doesn’t mean she doesn’t have to rsvp. if you don’t want to be involved then you are treated like any other guest we invited. She had no problem commenting on how the shower should have been when i’m 35 weeks and not 33 (woah sorry big difference). Meanwhile i’ve already been in the hospital due to preterm labor signs.
