Anyone else had an employer making their life hell? So frustrating and so pleased I’lol have a new job to go to in September x
@michellewiggins1985, my sister is a primary teacher too, I’m secondary. For teaching staff, it’s half a term notice minimum and you can leave at Christmas, Easter or the summer usually
@michellewiggins1985, yes, what does your step sister teach? Primary or secondary?x
@michellewiggins1985, I have checked with my unions as well but thanks
@hayleyf I can't see that is right most employment is a month notice never hear of that stuff ur saying will ask my step sister as she is a teacher x
@michellewiggins1985, yup! So got my hands tied for a while x
@hayleyf omg that is rubbish are they paying your maternity then xx
@michellewiggins1985, doesn’t works that way in teaching. I have to go back for at least 13 weeks so that I don’t have to pay my maternity money back. There are also only certain times of the a academic year that you can leave (unless you are released) and teachers have to give a terms notices...so many rules x
@hayleyf omg surely u only have to give a months notice xx
@michellewiggins1985, tried to tell them I have a new job and see of they will release me early. My headteacher is refusing to discuss it with me x
Thats that school for you, glad you have a new job and youre out of there xx
@megan-leigh, same here! I work in quite a rough school with violent kids as well x
They never even did a risk assessment on me or anything z
@megan-leigh, I’m a teacher, they made my life hell before and still are while I’m off x
@hayleyf I was a waitress/cleaner/potwasher. I did a lot more as well x
I'm pregnant and have had to leave work because of how they started treating me. All they were causing me was an insane amount of stress x

So . What was it?
I know Is so early but i feel flutters it feels so weird but i love it 🥰
