I feel like every other mama out there has only put on like 10-20 pounds during their pregnancies and here I am 40 pounds up with just about 11 weeks left, apparently I'm eating wayy too much..🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️
I’m right there with you!!! I’ve gained about the same if not more.
From before I got pregnant i was 145 right before i had my daughter i was 208 i gained 63 pounds three weeks after having her I went down to 169. It's all just a number that really doesn't mean anything most of its water
I only gained 40 lbs with my first. I keep losing weight with my second.
@tiapowlowski, no problem. I was about 188 before pregnancy but I'm also almost 5'9. My OB has definitely mentioned my weight a few times but baby is healthy and my labs are beautiful, I'll worry about my weight some other time lol. Don't stress it too much ❤️
@tiapowlowski, Hahahahha yessss!!!! My cravings for sweets is unreal! And food in general, I literally cant go a whole 2 minutes without eating. Before pregnancy I would starve myself, and now I’m a freaking bottomless pit when it comes to food. And every appointment I go to my midwife says I’m healthy and right on track even though I know she knows I’ve gained like 40 damn pounds so far. 😂 the nurse will tell her my weight and she’ll go, perfect! And here I am like, what’s so damn perfect about that?! I don’t look anything like I am over 220 pounds, not even close! 😩😭🤦🏻♀️
@blessedmamaoftwo every pregnancy is different. So hopefully this one works out for you to breastfeed. I'm hoping to breastfeed too.🤞
@malainaheka23 SAME! She keeps telling me I'm healthy and all my vitals are good. I dont even understand, but I mean I just ate 10 toll house cookies in a sitting so there's my problem right there. I have never been so hungry in my life before being pregnant.😂😂
@tiapowlowski, No I didn’t get to breastfeed cause all the pain medication and fluids I was on :/ it was an option for me ! But I’ll be breastfeeding with second most definitely!
@blessedmamaoftwo did you breastfeed with your first? Everyone says breastfeeding helps with the weight loss. I'll probably be rigcht around 60 pounds by the end if it keeps up like this. Lol
Crazy part is, my midwife hasn’t even mentioned my weight gain and is totally okay with it...🤷🏻♀️😂
@campey I just hit 40 and feel like it's sooo much compared to some other mama's. I'm glad I'm not the only one.❤
@mommytotheo thanks girl. It's nice to have reassurance and someone who has fought the same battle.😊 Congrats on your baby.❤
@tiapowlowski, The weight that I am and have gained is so much, like I don’t even know how it happened and when lmao I don’t recognize myself in the mirror or pictures anymore, and at the same time I don’t even look like it. 🙈 it’s a serious dilemma for me. And then I see all these women on the app sad about gaining 5 pounds, and I’m over here with my tub of ice cream like yeah, okay... come talk to me when you’ve actually gained more than 20 🤦🏻♀️😂😂😂😂
With my first I gained 60Ibs , I lost all of it after I had her , this pregnancy so far I’ve only gained 6Ibs
I was battling with a eating disorder when I got pregnant and I gained 40 pounds your not alone girl as long as your ob\midwife isn't considered about it don't knock yourself down
@lydia09876 it's okay! Thank you, it's an everyday struggle but my baby is a blessing and I do what I have to, to make sure she is healthy and growing.😊
@tiapowlowski, are you having a girl the picture on your page looks like it based on the skull
@malainaheka23 I refuse to step on the scale unless I'm at a doctor's appointment because I will just make myself feel worse. Lol I feel like I look like my weight because I lost 40 pounds a couple years ago and now it's back, this time I'm just more round.😂😂
@tiapowlowski, Hahaha me too, until I step on the scale at my appointments and I’m just like HOW?! 😩 I don’t even look like the weight I am... 😩😭😂😂
@lydia09876 everyone is different. I know for me it's a lot because I have battled bulimia for almost 10 years so when I got pregnant I made a promise to myself that I was going to allow myself to eat whatever I wanted and not let myself feel bad about it, I haven't binged or purged since I found out I was pregnant so I'm just trying to keep a positive mind and remember that I cxan lose the weight in a healthy manner after I give birth.😊
I wished I could keep weight I only gained 10 the entire pregnancy and now she 3 months old I’m below what I was before I hate being skinny
@malainaheka23 this whole time I thought what I was gaining was pretty healthy but compared to these other moms I'm now like obese. Omg.😂
Super weird I lost like 3 pounds at my apt today. Still only 1-2 dilated but 50% effaced. Slowly getting there like at the speed of a turtle.
I was 203 pounds before I got pregnant. Now I'm 208 at 29 +6 and I keep having dreams that I'm going to push out a baby with my mans big ass head that's going to be like 9 pounds lmao 😟.
Is it normal to only have gained 1 pound my whole pregnancy? My doctor says it’s fine but to me it sounds like a serious problem. With my first I gained 40 pounds lol.
I am 28 weeks and my son is already 3 pounds. I am inducing myself at 37 weeks.
Sooooooo I weigh 196 now, I've dropped like 30 pounds and I'm about 4 weeks post partum. 😩 I am dedicated to get down to 160 pounds. 💪🏻
I'm due 3/16 so we are around the same and I've put on 50..... Don't stress
