My little ones umbilical cord fell off two days ago. And I was changing his diaper and noticed his belly button is covered in dried blood. Is this normal? Did the cord fall off too soon?

His umbilical cord fell off today! It's crazy how big he is getting 6 days old
My son was by his dad's for the last two days. Before he went by his dad's his cord stump wasn't coming off at all and his skin was smooth. When I got him today his cord starting coming off and his skin is peeling around it. Is there a reason? Should I be worried?
Had our scan this am ❤ Our little weirdo was chewing on his/her cord lol Gender guesses welcome!
