after getting your cervix checked how much did y’all bleed? i’ve been getting checked at least once a week for the last 3 weeks & i never bled. i got checked this morning and now i’m bleeding brown old blood for the past couple hours. it’s not a lot but it’s enough to clearly see it when i wipe

@lulu85_18, they’re inducing me bc of high blood pressure & my family history with childbirth (my moms had some rough ones lol) i’ve been going to the doctor twice a week for monitoring and they think it will be safer for me and baby to be induced at 37 weeks, before my blood pressure gets any worse. if it wasn’t for my high bp they would’ve let me go on my own, but since i’m getting induced thursday they’ve been checking my cervix just to make sure my body is progressing on its own so maybe the induction won’t be like ripping me apart lmao
@kartersmommyy, I’m just curious, are they inducing you since you’re effaced and dilated, but haven’t started labor on your own? I was going to be induced at 41 weeks, but had him sooner. Just wondering.
I’m not sure what’s going to end up being this baby’s plan this time. I had zero progress until my doctor did a membrane sweep. That is what caused some light bleeding to occur for me.

@kartersmommyy, yes! The further dilated you are seems like the worse it hurts 😣 I’m already 4cm and 70% thinned 😥
@kartersmommyy yeah, she goes, "yeah, you're gonna bleed." Lol she also said, 'hmm, where is your cervix... Oh, high and like fort Knox." Lol the joys of being pregnant.
@mommy_x3, that makes sense, this was the first time he checked me & i was dilated & it def hurt this time lol it usually doesn’t hurt

Surely it’s not normal to bleed for 6 weeks straight stop for 2 weeks then bleed again, it’s like it’s never ending, so frustrating 😩
