Why Do Partners Get So Dramatic When They're Sick?
Yesterday me and my boyfriend had that stomach bug. He had it way worse than me, but was so dramatic.... he came home from work and laid in bed all day. He told me everything hurts and he feels like he’s dying 🙄🙄🙄 like it’s not that serious! He said why are you downplaying my pain and I was like you get so dramatic when you are sick. And he’s like it’s because I rarely get sick so when I do it’s bad. Anyone else significant others act like this????

Mine does this 🤦🏻♀️ it’s so annoying. I usually just make him tea and tell him to go to bed. A quiet house is better than listening to him complain lmao but other times I tell him to suck it up

@scx, he just keeps saying how much it hurts and how bad it is, and I’m just like I have no sympathy for you, I don’t feel good but still have to take care of the kids so get out of here. I got so mad at him (probably because I was jealous that he got to lay in bed all day and sleep) and I was up all day with the baby 😑

I acted like that when I had my stomach flu last week lol. It really was bad, my head hurt, my body ached, my stomach hurt, and I couldn’t stop dry heaving. I was dizzy, so thirsty but didn’t wanna drink anything fast for fear of puking it up. It was awful. Cut him some slack and take care of your man if you are feeling better!! Unless he’s a jerk to you then I can see why you’d give him a hard time

@shellbell0391, I never said I didn’t take care of him. I know from experience how he is while sick. I did what I could for him.

@alyssa_hoffmaster, omg yeah I get annoyed with that too! Men are babies and handle anything like we can. I would have gotten mad at him too, when my bf gets sick he won’t do much but he’ll still try to help me out so I can get some sleep, I’m sorry this happens :| you should talk to him and lay down the rules! After all, you went through 3 pregnancies, feeling like crap and still pulling through. Least he can do is suck it up and be a man

@scx, lol ya, he’s finally up today so it’s a bit easier but I have to go into work so Hopefully he’ll be better later

@scx, if she has to do everything every single day I could see that but if her bf had it worse than her why wouldn’t she want to let him rest? I mean idk thank god ian did everything for me when I was sick because I couldn’t have imagined leaving the couch I was so sick
