I have been crying for over two hours now. Nothing is okay, nothing is good. I feel like i’m ten feet under. Idk how I got this low. Not even looking at my son makes me smile anymore. My life is upside down, i don’t even want to look at myself in the mirror. I have never been so down. I can’t even explain how i feel to my husband, now he’s mad because i won’t talk about what’s wrong with me. I don’t know how. I hate talking about my feelings. He should know why i’m so overwhelmed and depressed none the less. I just don’t know anymore. I feel all alone & trapped in this big fucked up world in my own fucked up life that will never get any better. My dear son, i’m so sorry you have to feel me this way. Probably why your so cranky and fussy and won’t sleep around me. 💔

My heart goes out to you, in my prayers tonight. Depression is a serious thing and can really tear someone down. But don’t let it fight it. Do everything you can do for your son. Maybe call your doctor see someone they can help you figure out what’s going on💖

I was the same way shortly after I brought my son home from the hospital, I couldn't even put him to bed at night without balling my eyes out and feeling so anxious. It's perfectly ok to feel this way, there's nothing wrong with you and you need to engrave that in your mind. PPD is rough but stay positive, take care of yourself and your son and don't worry about anything else, just you and him. Tell you husband you're dealing with PPD and tell him that you're just so overwhelmed with everything at the moment. Maybe tell him things he can do to help take some of the stress off of you if that's all he can do. He just wants to help and he's frustrated not at you but at how he's not sure how to make things better. Just tell him what you need. It'll all be ok.

@skylersmommy11916, thank you for your wonderful words. ❤️ You moms on here are more helpful then the ones actually watching you suffer.

You can do this, don’t give up! It may seem like everything is working against you and fighting back may look like the hardest thing you’ve ever done, but keep your chin up!!!! I’ve been there and it sucks, definitely talk to your doctor like the above comment said to. They will know what to do and will help you feel like yourself. It may seem silly but I think babies can pick up on your mood and your baby needs you and loves you!!! My daughter was crabbier and fussy when I felt this way, but once I got help and my mood improved she was a different baby😊

It's so hard after having a baby not to live on our feelings. Most of the time feelings are temporary. Maybe you should talk to your husband and let him know what's going on. My dr told my husband to listen to me and if I start feeling like you do to bring me in for further help. Postpartum is difficult to get thru. I cried A LOT for two weeks straight. It started getting better after that. It took me awhile to get used to things again. It's normal but never be afraid to talk to someone about it. Remember it's your hormones talking. You are beautiful and you're just going through a rough patch. It will get better and it will get easier. Find things to keep you going in the meantime. I would watch funny shows or invite my mom over for company when my kids and husband left for work and school. Grab the bull by the horns and let PPD know you got this!! ❤️❤️❤️
