going back & forth between being nervous & excited about the whole birthing experience.. i think i’m more excited than anything at this point. i’m not even scared for the actual birth, i’m more scared of the contractions beforehand😂 i have a feeling the epidural will be my best friend
@kartersmommyy im not giving birth in a hospital so not really an option for me jt does frighten me too though thinking of a needle in my back dont think I could do it
@ib.crazyskittles18, you’re way tougher than i am! good luck to you!
@halifax6, 😂😂😂 just focus on relaxing. i was talking to my cousin today & she said to just relax. the more you tense up & stress out, the harder it’s gonna be. especially since we have high bp we just gotta relax & try to take everything 1 step at a time!
@kartersmommyy right! I keep telling myself, the sooner I can get out, it's not working! Lol I feel you about being induced. Like there is no stopping it, so I just gotta go with the flow! I'm concerned about my BP, too. And it spiking and then having an emergency c section. And and and.. Pushing. Contractions! Ugh and then I'm in a panic lol can I get an Ativan? Lol xanex? Lol
@halifax6, yeah i can only imagine being in the hospital this whole time hasn’t helped much.. on the plus side the sooner you have him, the sooner you’ll get to go home! think of it that way! i’m just nervous because they’re inducing me.. the pitocin is scaring the crap outta me & i feel like i’m gonna be in so much pain until i can get the epidural. once i get the epidural i won’t be worrying too much lol hopefully it all goes smoothly though! labor is unpredictable
@kartersmommyy my anxiety has only been intensifying! Lol like, I've convinced myself I'm NOT having this baby. He's staying in there. Forever. Lol hopefully I'll get over these nerves, once it starts, not much I can do. But all I keep envisioning is screaming and crying saying I want to go home. Lol. This two plus weeks in bed/hospital hasn't really helped the build up.
@krisfreeman, omg! i hope you do! i’m having my baby this weekend :) the excitement is just too much!
@halifax6, i got you girl 😂😂 hopefully by thursday you’ll be feeling a little more excited!
I'm still waaaay more nervous than excited. Lol wanna pass me some of that excitement! Lol 😫😵😥😟🤤😢🤢
Me too, my heart literally dropped earlier when it dawned on me that I'll probably have a new baby this wknd 🙈🙉🙊
@lulu85_18, me too! A couple of pushes and that was it but before the head pops out Girllllll the worst lol
@missheatherbaby, oh yes, I remember that. I’m so glad I felt everything too. I only pushed three times and he was out!
It’s good to have a birth plan, but also prepare for worst case scenario. I plan for a
natural birth. I pray everything goes as planned. I was supposed to be induced because I was almost two weeks overdue, but ended up having my son the day before that.
When you’re able to labor on your own and feel the contractions, you’re less likely to need more inventions (pitocin, c-section), your pushing is more effective, and you are less likely to have a baby born in distress.
The contractions are really bad but honestly I liked feeling the pain. There is something beautiful about labor. However, my epidural didn’t work the last time and I felt the ring of fire. The ring of fire is HORRIBLE 🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️
I wanted to have a choice if to do it natural or with epidural but i had NO choice but to go natural lol i got to the hospital with contractions and at 5cm and 30 mins later i was at 10cm and ready to push. My daughter weighed 8lbs 2oz
@kartersmommyy I didn't make it with my daughter by the time they took my blood before getting the epidural it was too late I was already 9 cm . It was time to push . Contractions were the worst .
@kartersmommyy, lol it won’t girl it does take the pain away because with my 1st it was awesome but them sticking it in your back to give you the drug hurts I cried both times lol
@mikey_boy9816, at the beginning of my pregnancy i’m like “oh yeah i’m doing this all natural, no drugs” and now that i’m further along i’m like “yep i’m gonna need that epidural” 😂😂😂 i’m a wimp
Eh I had contractions for about 2 hours before I got to the hospital. Got to the hospital at 12 and she was out at 12:50 haha. I didn’t have anything for pain at all. It hurts for sure but you can get through it.
It was my best friend that's for sure lol I wanted to go in no meds all natural but I felt them contractions and they were unbearable for me so I was like okay time to re think 🤔😂
@nessairieray, omggg i hope that doesn’t happen to me :( either way it’s do-able! you’re a trooper lol
@littleone95, yesss same! idc about pushing, i’m more scared about contracting 😂 i never felt a painful contraction before lol
my experience with the epidural didn’t work 😞 my body rejected the drug so I felt everything lol but good luck girly
@cheyenne.frazier, i’ve heard! which sucks bc i feel like i’m gonna be sitting here contracting foreverrrr lol
Girl me too. I'm terrified about these contractions I'm excited to give birth tho 😂
Yah contractions were way were than the birth itself!
The closer the days get the more scared I get to give birth 😩
