@ashleydunn, I don’t do a lot of chicken in the crock pot, but next time I do I’ll have to try that out. I’m doing two pounds of boneless skinless breasts on low for about 6 hours, so I’m hoping that it being on low it won’t dry it out too much but chicken is always hard to cook. It’s got salsa, tomato’s, onion, cilantro, lime juice, garlic, and taco seasoning! It’s a recipe I found on Pinterest so I’m really hoping it turns out good
I always cooked mine on low and it ended up dry even if I added liquid or butter but when I made chicken chili and cooked chicken before hand it wasn't dry. But I can make a whole chicken in Crock-Pot without it getting dry 🤔 it's Soo weird
@ashleydunn, really?? That’s really weird, I’ve never done a whole chicken in the crock pot. Let’s hope it doesn’t turn out dry! Maybe if I let it cook for 5 hours and not 6? I don’t know, now I need to figure out the secret to make it not dry! Lol
Well the whole chicken had an onion on bottom so maybe that's what kept it from drying out ? IDK the only other thing I've found was cooking it on stove before adding to Crock-Pot. I only cook my chicken for 4 hours on low, 6 if stuck in there Frozen

Looks good but as someone who constantly had to use Crock-Pot, if you cook chicken on stove before hand it keeps it from getting dry in Crock-Pot.
What's all in this ?
I've made chicken filling for quesadillas in Crock-Pot but never seen something like this ?
