I recently got separated and moved back to my parents house. My baby is not use to my parents and often cries. He can tolerate them the most for a minute. This is going to be hard. If any of you ladies have gone through what i'm going, how long will it take for my son to get use to my family. Also, I should put this out there his family has really babied my son and my family babies him but not really. Someone please help me.
@kambam, It just breaks my heart to see him cry. He'll cry and cry and cry.
Leave the baby and do something for yourself for an hour if you can. He'll adjust and you'll get a break.
@kambam, Yes, honestly he's a good dad and I'll never not let him see his kid. Yeah that's what i'm trying to do because I don't want him to feed off of that. When this whole thing happened I was stressed and he felt it.
He'll still be seeing them often tho right? If you're stressed he'll feed off your energy too so try to stay positive.
@kambam, Thank you. This is so hard. My son is so use to his dads family. They are good people but his dad and I are just don't get a long.
My son hates my moms place mostly because of the dogs and the yelling. He's going to be really needy for a while but he will settle. Have a spot that's his with all his favorite toys/books in a somewhat quiet spot so he can play and disconnect from socializing if he needs to. Go on walks. All else fails just leave him to figure it out and he'll be ok
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...

Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are...
Science!
My friend posted this on facebook last night and said her kids were asleep within minutes. It's a song that scientists created to help people fall asleep. I was skeptical but I thought what the hay, I'll try it out. I didn't bank on Dh falling asleep, but both him and lo were asleep by minute 2. And lo slept six straight hours. ?
I know but sometimes they cry more if they see you there 😣 do what feels right mama. He will adjust I think though. Well, he has no choice right 😐
