Totally normal around that age.

They grow out of it ..

So many changes going on in their little worlds.

@delamorena2121, I've tried all that he could care less about what toy he has the minute he watches me or realize I've walked away he screams. He's not afraid of others in fact he's a people person I could give him to one of his grandparents so he knows he's not alone and he still screams till I come back into the room. And talking to him from the other room just makes him scream louder cause he can't see me.

Just make sure that he’s got quite a couple of his favourite toys in there. My son did it for about a week, but I leave in with a few toys in his playpen and I talk to him And play peekaboo a few times before I leave so that he knows I’m still around. My son is perfectly ok going to other people, but he just doesn’t like the feeling of being alone.

@babyblue17, - yeah they sure do. My boys did and now I have a girl and she never really went through this. It’s strange! She still loves Mommy and prefers me but she will go to other people no problem and has always been that way

@brooke876, thank you. I know kids go through these stages I just don't want it to become to much of an issue. Maybe I'll have to try leaving him with someone more.

My boys did this until they were 2. It’s frustrating for sure! I never really figured out how to resolve this. Leave him with someone else he can get more comfortable with more often maybe? Nothing really worked for me, I’m sorry
