I was in labor for 18 hours, would've been shorter had the nurses listened to me but they just said "push harder" I was pushing for 4 hours and they finally brought the doctor in for him to examine me because they were wondering why it was taking so long. Baby girl was side ways. All he did was look at my tummy but he proved it by showing the nurse my cervix when I pushed (I guess they could see her ear instead of her forehead) I didn't get my epidural until 7cm but that's because they told me if I didn't get then I wouldn't be able to get. They also had to do it twice because I wasn't numb the first time (my body doesn't take to medications like normal) had a c section, they needed to give me 2 dosages of pain numbing stuff AND nitrous. I felt the first incision so they had to give the second dose. A day I'll never forget haha
Yeah mine so at 38 weeks i had contractions Braxton hicks alot all day for two days went into doctors er okie an from me walking an trying to get into labor with my daughter i wasn't dilated crazy but after that i went back home in pain not to much but uncomfortable pain for hours an hours an go to my doctors appt she ✔ my cervix an im at 7 she says your dilated we rush to hospital an i say i feel something it was my mucus plug freaky then after awhile they broke my water an after awhile they did the Ep then i started pushing when i had bad really contractions oh man they hurt so much but i did it Ep did the job next loved it now im waiting for this other lil girl to come im nervous but excited
I got induced due to high bp and i didn't feel any contractions at all until they broke my water at 3 cm. Then it got intense really fast. The contraction monitor wouldn't pick up the contractions so they had to put in an internal one that made the contractions 400% worse. I got the epidural at 5 cm dialated and within an hour i was 10 cm diated and i pushed 12 times and he was here. Born face up. I was in labor for 12 hours.
