Moms with toddlers...what are your tips and tricks to getting simple things done...I’m 33 weeks pregnant and was planning on getting a pedicure tomorrow but my husband found out he has to work which means taking my 16 month old with me...should I skip pedicure or is there a trick to keeping him content?
I'm a nail tech...and I say as long as ur feet don't move, especially during the polish, you are fine. I can work through most things but another tech may not. I would definitely have him sit in ur lap so u aren't having to get up. Ive had to bring my baby to work so I definitely get it
I let my son sit on my lap while i get a pedicure and i bring his favorite snacks and books and toys
I found taking little activities that they like help. Or if there is a show that they like to watch pulling it up on your phone. Just really depends on how comfortable you are taking him
Crossing my fingers that tonight is the night... my contractions are getting stronger... maybe they will be timbale this time and not BH... hoping that membrane sweep did the trick..
Tricks of the Trade
What are some of your mom/life tricks and tips?
any teething tricks ladies? my son is 10 weeks and getting his first tooth I'm at a loss of what to do
If I go into labor how appropriate would it be to stop at the salon and get a pedicure so I can have fresh toes and a wax with my legs all in the air ? Lol

Does anyone else see a giant positive or are my eyes playing tricks
A pedicure takes roughly an hour. Have you known your son to sit sit and quietly for an hour or more? I wouldn’t do it with my 2 yr old because i know it is asking too much of her especially in a new environment that looks fun to explore. Not to mention all the water everywhere is a hazard (he could drown) and the liability would be on the nail salon which isn’t fair because you aren’t paying them to babysit too.
