Hi mommas! I really need some advice. My 7mo. Old daughter is congested, and sneezing a lot. She has tears coming out from only her right eye and the skin around her eye gets pink. I took her to the pediatrician yesterday but she said she doesn't have pink eye, nor is sick and no fever. She says its probably allergies. Today she woke up even more congested to the point where she can't even drink her formula because shes having difficulty breathing through her nose. What I'm curious about is why are there only tears coming out from one eye? Can any one help who knows or has a baby who has gone through this? Thank you!

She's still pretty active, my oldest and youngest don't have any side effects while taking Claritin. It really helped with itchy eyes and their congestion

It takes a few days to notice Claritin to make a difference. I thought my youngest had a cold but turned out to be allergies. Since I put her on Claritin she's gotten so much better

@val746416, you can also get a cold in the eye. Not sure if that's what she has. Use the nose sucker n saline to get it all out of her nose

@ashleydunn she prescribed me children's claritin. I tried it yesterday. But today she woke up even worse than yesterday. My husband was sick for about a week. And then got better and a few days after i got sick and I just got better a few days ago. So i thought it was a cold but pediatrician said she looks fine

Take her to a different doctor I’m not sure what it could be

My oldest not pink eye from her allergies from rubbing them. Usually only one of her eyes get red for some reason though. Did the prescribe seasonal allergy medication? They can't have allergy eye drops until like age 4
