Anyone else take the depo because this is my first one. I got it in August after Reilly was born will it ducks with your menstrual period and will October or November was my third month will now my period is apparently out of wack like There's days I hurt and bleed and then it stops and then does it again but the other weird thing is it's brown like,the color of the brown crayon.

I took the depo in high school for couple years stopped it for couple years got pregnant started it again after just stopped it in March and wont be getting it again until im done having kids maybe not even then. It does make you gain weight, mess with your hair, i had period a whole summer in high school reason i stopped literally beginning if June until September. I stopped it again because i kept getting my period every two weeks and now trying to conceive.

Well the shot itself only last 3 months so now your body is just working to get it out of your system. It can take awhile for your period to get back on track..

@kkmamax3 true it like comes and goes but it's usually either brown or red
