Made it through Maddie's first day of daycare! I think it's crazy how their staffing for infants is 4-1.. what happens if they are all crying/fussy? Thankfully she's only there a few hours for only two days a week. The staff all seem really nice, I just worry that she will be crying and no one will be available to respond to her. She seemed to have fun though

@liz41395 thank you! She's been sticking her tongue out and making spitting noises lately lol

I like how they have an app that alerts you on activity throughout the day and send pictures.. it's comforting to me and my type a personality lol idk if all daycare centers do that know, but I enjoyed being able to see when she naps, her diaper changes, etc

When I worked in the infant class at daycare I loved it! You’d think there would be more crying and whatever at the same time but there rarely ever was. 4-1 is good. I’m sure she will have lots of fun and learn lots

I just absolutely love some women on here! Some woman wants to write on another women's post telling her she shouldn't be having sex at all in the beginning of pregnancy. I didn't know she was her doctor. Then she wants to tell me that the first trimester is only 1-9 weeks pregnant. And she lost her baby at 4 weeks pregnant due to sex. Like sweetie that's your period starting!

Opinions on crying it out?

Opinions on crying it out? My baby is 8 1/2 months old. I've tried the no tears method and it worked a couple times but now it doesn't anymore. I do squats while holding her and rock her (21 lbs baby) for over an hour each nap all for nothing. My friend said she did cry it out and by the 3rd day her baby would only cry 5 minutes and now he's totally fine with sleeping in the crib. Opinions please? I am the only one who actually raises my kid. My fiancé does not help and I have no family that helps. So it is very hard on me. Thank you Edit: because clearly some of the women on here think I'm a monster. I am an EMT. When I go back to work, I will be gone 24 hours at a time. My daughter is almost 9 months old and cries every minute she is not in my arms. As much as I want to comfort her every second of the day, I can't. And it's better I get her used to sleeping on her own now, than not letting her cry and all of a sudden mommys gone for 24 hours at a time and she completely loses it and I can't just get off work to comfort her.

I can't take it anymore! Haley (yes my 1mth old and no I wasn't able to go through this "joy" of nursing my older daughter, Molly) has been screaming non stop for 6hrs! All she wants to do is eat and I can't have her attached to me all day, everyday! She has wanted to eat every hr on the hr for the past 3hrs! I put her in her room so I don't scream at her but I just can't take it!
