Most standard STD panels don't do herpes. So I would explicitly ask for that. What do you use down there? Do you shave?

If the bumps go from just itchy to white and red, inflamed and burn it's probably herpes. It burns like hell and is unmistakable but takes a few days for the bumps to change. You'll know if it is. If it isn't then the bumps should just go away without much pain .

@worlds.okayest.mom there is no way i would have herpes. I use baby soap to clean. I do shave but very rarely.

If you've had sex, you could have herpes. Babies get it from being born. There is actually a chance.

Is the soap scented? What type of baby soap? Could be an allergic reaction.

@worlds.okayest.mom it's the regular Johnson soap. It's unscented. It's happened before now. It just keeps coming back. And I have only had sex with my husband and he's only had sex with me. It isn't possible.

You've been to the doctor to get checked for it then? Or are you just saying you have been checked for stds and infections before? I'm asking cause your doctor should've been able to help you if you have went to him about it. If you have not, I highly suggest getting re tested and checked, if all the obvious reasons such as shaving isn't the reason in your mind. But tbh none of that just happens.

@m.hks_ well I know it isn't an std. I'll call my doc and make an appt to get it checked out again. The bumps have slowly been appearing.

@ssdj4 you can get it through contact. It's not like there's a magical number of people you have to sleep with to qualify for getting it. Virgins can have it, newborns can have it, anyone is eligible. You could have it and never have symptoms and never know because they don't test for it in regular screening.
