Just found out we’re getting stationed at Fort Hood, Texas. Although I heard horrible things, Home is where the heart is. I’m excited to start a new adventure. We report March 10. Texas here we come!
Who lives in Texas? DH wants to make a transfer in the company he works for to Texas. Right outside of Waco. I know nothing about Texas as I've never been there (though I wanna meet chip and Joanna Gaines so bad!) we have a 6 year old and 1 1/2 year old and no family in Texas. This would be a big move since we are in NY. advice? ?

Tornado warning Texas Just had a tornado warning sent to my phone and we are freaking out!! It said take cover now. Our power just went out and we are taking cover in the safest part of our house! Say a prayer for those of us in Texas! Crazy crazy weather

@firsttimemom84, I sure hope so! I love Colorado it’s my Home, but being able to live somewhere else sounds pretty cool.

@robbyanne1 I moved out of my dad's before he got restationed so personally I couldn't tell you. He's still there though even though he's no longer active, so it can't be awful.

@robbyanne1, I was young but the house we stayed in was really nice. I was walking distance from the school I was there when the school was first built so it was really nice. There was a park very close by. I liked it. But not even a year after we moved away the base had attackers and everything it was scary to hear about
