Just found out we’re getting stationed at Fort Hood, Texas. Although I heard horrible things, Home is where the heart is. I’m excited to start a new adventure. We report March 10. Texas here we come!
@robbyanne1, I was young but the house we stayed in was really nice. I was walking distance from the school I was there when the school was first built so it was really nice. There was a park very close by. I liked it. But not even a year after we moved away the base had attackers and everything it was scary to hear about
@firsttimemom84, I just heard a lot of bad things about the base. I know nothing about the surrounding areas, so I don’t know rather to live on base or off.
@firsttimemom84, That’s awesome! I first lived in Monument and then moved to Colorado Springs.
@robbyanne1, I was born in Aurora and lived in Parker until I was 10 and my dads side of the family still lives in Colorado
@firsttimemom84, I sure hope so! I love Colorado it’s my Home, but being able to live somewhere else sounds pretty cool.
@peoplecallmesatan, oh wow, that does sound scary
