He started on formula when he was born. But he has a bowel movement today finally so hopefully it continues!

@mellyc123, I hope it helps 🙏🏾 I had to put my LO back to regular enfamil after trying 4 diff formulas . My doc said it was pretty much pick your poison and I rather deal w spit than constipation

@claudia0786 he was on similac pro advance then gentle ease BC my older son was on it fine and now he's on similac gentle or sensitive or whatever. And I've been doing mommy's bliss for constipation.

My baby is 1 month old and gets constipated too and drinks formula. Exercising her legs and massages work for me.

My daughter was on gentle ease & it made her super constipated her doc told be to give her an once of apple or prune juice daily

@mellyc123, very rarely a baby has a soy issue. There are formulas with lactose free but it's very expensive and I think the only way to really know is to eliminate all milk in general

@ecahanes yeah I read that some babies would be allergic to soy too and the doctor said to go without giving him a suppository and see and bring a stool sample.

But it probably wouldn't hurt to switch to soy 🤷🏼‍♀️ give it a week and see

If he isn't fussy I doubt it's a milk allergy. My first was put on formula at four months and he would wince in pain and cry cry cry switched to soy and he was a new baby. He is now on lactose free milk

@mellyc123, when did you start formula? He could just be adjusting to the formula
