@crystal.newman, oh yes i know i’m going to get an epidural for sure lol i’m too much of a wimp to do it without one. i know it won’t be too bad, women do it all the time, it’s just as the time gets closer & closer i’m getting a little nervous just bc i don’t want anything to go wrong. i’m getting induced & i heard that makes things a little more intense on your body rather than when it just takes its natural course.. i need to stop hyping my head up lol i know i’ll be ok 😂

@kartersmommyy, just don’t stress beforehand because you’ll stress and be scared and realize it’s not that bad. Just know if you go natural you’ll eventually be in pain and you might scream especially once the ring of fire happens. But that’s during the actual delivery process not the laboring beforehand. And if you do go natural they have classes where they mentally prepare you for what’s to come. I was told if you mentally prepare and keep very calm and relaxed that natural delivery is much easier to handle. It’s all a mind game. Relax and let those contractions get that baby out. And always remember the pain is temporary and your OB will most likely give you some pain medicine and sleeping medicine. Take advantage of those. I don’t know what route you’re taking but I always recommend an epidural or if you insist on natural to use the nitrous oxide. It helps a lot.

To be honest labor and delivery were very easy for me anyway and I was induced. I think it depends on how much pain you can handle. My contractions hurt but it didn’t make me scream or cringe or anything. Just uncomfortable. I was still talking. Playing on my phone. I only got an epidural because my contractions were distracting me from my phone. I would stop and breath through them. Which disrupted my game playing. Really the worst of my labor was feeling like I had to crap and had to avoid pushing. Because the epidural still allows you to feel all the pressure just no sharpness. I actually pushed my first daughter out in 14 minutes because I really wanted a Mc Donald’s sweet tea. I was also cut and stitched up. After the delivery I was very tired and just wanted to sleep. But I wouldn’t sleep so they had to sedate me and I was very anemic and on the verge of hemorrhaging. They just needed me to rest. By the 3rd day I was up and sitting on the couch in the recovery room. I was scared to death but I think a lot of moms over exaggerate some things. Maybe they don’t exaggerate and everyone is different but that’s just my opinion. Really after all said and done and your baby is placed in your arms you really don’t think about what you just endured. And fun fact when they placed my daughter on my chest the first thing I said was you stink and then I looked at my child’s father and said I want my sweet tea.

@kartersmommyy I saw one on Fb, that was a compilation of babies popping out, like seriously shooting out, and several different types of births,water birth, on the couch... This was months ago, and I've never looked again. I am scared to death. Induced in 10 days, and I'm trying suoer hard not to panic!

@halifax6, yes i advise not to, it just makes you even more scared! & i wasn’t scared before i started watching them! 😩
