My test came back abnormal for down syndrome as well. My baby was born Sunday, no down syndrome. It's simply a ratio not a diagnosis! If you were in a room with 110 pregnant women the same age as you, only one of those women would have a baby born with down syndrome.

My friend had the same thing happen to her. She refused the amino because either way the baby would be loved. Her daughter is perfectly healthy.

That's still an over 99% chance that she won't. I don't have expirience, but have read plenty of women scaring themselves senseless for nothing.
