Im 19 going on 20 years old in 7 days i am also 10 wks pregnant and have yet to tell my parents…

Same here and I told the one who would accept it first like my mom first so that once it sits in her she can help me tell my dad, but they both were happy even though they were strict..

I’m 19 and was in the same boat. They will be upset, but eventually they will have to accept it and be happy for you

I was so scared too at first but I just told them and they were just like well okay there’s nothing we can do about it and then we went out to dinner lol.. but it’s different for each persons parents.. you are over 18 so they cannot get that mad.

I was young as well when I had my first. It was the scariest thing I had to do was tell my parents I was pregnant. But my dad told me a piece of advice that has stuck since then. If you want to be treated as an adult with the responsibilities that come along with it then do/act like an adult. Which also means talking about the choices that we make.

So be brave and tell them. They may be shocked at first but let it sink in first for them. Good luck!

I was 19 when I was pregnant and I know that fear! But they have to learn that you are an adult now who is perfectly capable of making that decision. The hardest part is working up the courage to tell them. But once you do, it’s smooth sailing. :)

I am 38 now..had my 1st son at age 16..yeah i know youngg def was no teen mom ride i live in reality .I had found a hs that accepted teen mom and had daycare also and a drs office but.needed their signature for the dr.So i wrote my mom a note saying need this signed thanks..yeah was an eventful.emotional day.At 1st my mom was more understanding and my dad was upset.and then long story short my parents moved away lost their town house while i was 4 month's pregnant and they moved out of state.They came back to the same state when my baby was 3 month's old.I had a job went to school.My dad was so proud of me and i Proved i handled it and he was so supportive of me and my choices and he was close to my son.my mom barely held my son..so just strange.I love being a mom now to 3 boys they are my world

@kenverlin.romero, I was 15 when i got pregnant .. i tried hiding it but once i started showing i had no choice but to tell them .. first parent i told was my mom .. she cried n was happy she was gonna b a grandma .. when the time came that I had to tell my dad he wasn’t happy at all .. he kicked me out of the house then changed his mind but he didn’t talk to me till I had my son .. only reason he talked to me was because I had a boy .. my son was his pride n joy till his last breath .. all parents r different n eventually they have to get over it n accept it
