@kelseychapman13, oh ok. That’s is the craziest thing I have ever heard. Our kids don’t go out at school when it’s freezing out! I hope when August comes around you can get him back in school and things get better!

@scarapella1, not that have not already started and the ones that he can get into we have to pay and we can afford it right now so I am just going to keep him home and work with him myself and then send him back in August. I even talked to his teacher and all she told me was to bundle him up and send him and I told her since he has pneumonia he can’t go outside and she said to bundle him up and send him because they have to go outside for an hour a day

@kelseychapman13, awe, that’s terrible. You would think a School would be more understanding about a sickness. Pneumonia is a serious one! Sounds like that’s your best bet right now! Is there any other preschool programs in your area?

@scarapella1, I know I am so heartbroken because my little man loves going to school but I am not going to send him to school if he is sick and when I do send him they end up sending him home because he runs a really high fever so I can’t win for anything so I am just going to keep him home.

@chloe.teenmomma, thank you so much and he ride he bus and this morning it was 4 degrees when he would be getting on the bus and that is way to cold for him to be sitting on the bus. I am so pissed and they don’t even care all they care about is getting paid.

@kelseychapman13, that’s really heartbreaking to hear. Sounds like they don’t care at all which is a disgrace!

I'm so sorry. We had a problem with my little brother. He had been sick and missed a lot of school. So we made the promise, sent him back, and he got to keep his place. But obviously there is no way to promise he won't miss anymore school the rest of the year. We just had to say he was no longer sick and would go for at least a week. I'm sorry, but the school he is going to sounds like they are sick in the head. Do they WANT the rest of the kids to get pneumonia??? Anyways, praying that things get better for you!

@scarapella1, yeah I know they just don’t care because the lady I talked to said they want to have the spot for a kid that will be there everyday or at least half the month and I got really mad so I said fine I will just keep him home and he can start back in August and start kindergarten

@kelseychapman13, oh ok. That’s horrible. I am so sorry! How can you possibly promise that? I could see if you just didn’t take him but he was sick and has doctors notes to back it up!

@scarapella1, no it is a program at the elementary school here. But yeah they told me that since he hasn’t been all month that he will loose his spot unless I can promise he won’t miss anymore school the rest of the year

@kelseychapman13, omg!!! I am so sorry! That can’t be right! Would they rather you send him to school with pneumonia and get everyone sick! If you have doctors notes and everything, I don’t understand how they can do that! Is is a daycare type preschool? I remember my brother having pneumonia and missing a lot of days and they just sent home homework etc but he was in grade school.

@scarapella1, I got a letter from my sons school saying he is going to be kicked out of the preschool program because he has pneumonia and has not been to school any of December well in like 10 days because they got out dec. 20th do they are going to kick him out and I am stressing out and crying because it is heart breaking and I have tried to tell them he had pneumonia and even have doctors note they just don’t care because they don’t get paid if he is not there.
