@chesscalouise2 my stomach cramps are on and off as well don't get it. Breasts aren't sore etc xx

@chesscalouise2 erm well since having the coil I've been regular before I was pregnant had the implant which does stop periods completely whereas I've bled every month with the coil apart from this month I've had stomach cramps but that's it. I'm so tired, drained, so hungry, peeing more but took a test I'm not pregnant xx

I can feel a bump like as if the threads are tied in a knot type of thing and it's only hard all around the knot like I'm touching the coil. It what high or low? Xxx

@xxjadeleannebxx can you feel the whispy ends of the threads? If your cervix is hard this can indicate your period is on its way ...is it high up or rather low?xxx

I wouldn't say strings it's like a bump can't feel long strings xxx

@erincharlie1226 I can feel the strings but they are short but I did have them shortened abit but when I press my cervix it is hard as If I can feel the coil but read your not supposed too. Xx

Thanks I'll check for the strings if they are there etc I'll take it from there then I'll do the test in a weeks time if it's still not happened then go docs xxx

@xxjadeleannebxx when women don't ovulate in their cycle you can miss a period because the body has not released an egg to get rid of. I mean I'm not a doctor but if you've missed a period you can 1.be pregnant 2.not ovulate..this can indicate a hormone imbalance. It's common for the mirena coil to stop periods but it's not common for the copper coil so id 1st look for your strings to make sure they are in place get your OH to check if you can't.2 take a pregnancy test in a weeks time if that's negative go to your gp to get your hormone levels checked. The copper coil can cause delay in periods so might just even be that. You have a 1 year old so your body can still be irregular due to hormonal changes. Hope this helps and makes sense xxx

@erincharlie1226 yeah I know but this will be a missed period not had one in December at all. I'm trying not to gonna relax in the bath later may help. I'll check have trouble finding them they were trimmed due to them irritating the OH. I'll see what happens thanks xxx

Look up anovulation u just might not have ovulated and or have a hormone imbalance causing your migraines and symptoms. Go back to your gp if u feel any worse xxx

It's not uncommon for periods to be irregular while on contraception especially the coil. Try not to stress about it as that can cause delays aswell. Are the strings in place xx
