I know every baby is different, but should my almost 15 month old be sleeping thru the night? My husband seems to think she should be. What is wrong with my going and picking up my daughter and holding her until she falls back to sleep?
My sweet baby girl gained her angel wings this morning. She was my best friend, my true love my everything. She was so happy and beautiful, I'm struggling to say good bye. Sleep tight princess, mummy and daddy love you very very much ❤

My daughter bites her nails and when she’s sleep she grinds her teeth - it’s really frustrating -should I be concerned
So my baby is 8 weeks old and is thriving with weight gain each doctors visit. So here is my question: around 4-5 hours at night for sleep she wakes up every night and sucks on her thumb. (She finally this week likes it to soothe her during nap times) her eyes are still closed and she moves around and sucks it. I wake her to feed her. My question is should I just let it go? And see if she is just soothing herself to sleep? I don't want her to stave by morning if she sleep a couple of more hours. What would you guys do?

Technically she should be able to sleep through the night by now. She won't do it until you make her though. My son has slept through the night since 3 months old and he's recently began trying to wake up at night but I just lay him back down. She still wakes up because she knows you will hold her

She used to sleep thru the night around 3 months or so I guess and my doctor told me not to get use to it. Do I make her by just letting her cry?

My son has never slept through the night. You are not alone. Mine still wakes up to drink a baba. Lol

My oldest didn’t sleep through the night until he was almost 2 and a half and my youngest didn’t sleep through the night until a month ago! They were sleeping in their own beds and I would work with them to go back to sleep on their own but they would still wake up... I think it’s just one of those things they will do when they are ready🤷🏻♀️

I’m almost 28 years old and I don’t even sleep through the night...lol.
Also, “sleeping through the night” for babies is only considered to be 5 hours.

@karimarie I'm 27 and haven't slept thru the night since my teens. And my husband and his family fight sleep. So she unfortunately gets it from both sides.

It’s not about sleeping through the night. It’s about your child having the ability to soothe herself back to sleep without your help. That way when she is two or three when she wakes up in the middle of the night, she can put herself back to sleep
