Anyone that lost a baby was your period irregular afterwards?. If so, for how long?.

I had irregular periods for about 3-4 months after my miscarriage

@vvrobinson yeah that's what I was wondering if my body was treating itself as if I had a full term pregnancy. I say that because my water broke and I actually had to push my baby out.

No problem :) it can vary from person to person but I think generally it's at least 3 months

I'm so sorry! I just read your comment about what happened :( I would say since it's been 5 months that it's "safe" to try again but also that after giving birth they recommend 1 year to allow your body to rest. With you being somewhere in the middle of it, I'd assume you can try whenever you feel emotionally ready. You can try ovulation tests to see when your more likely to get pregnant until you become regular again.

@canaryv okay, I was also thinking about trying preseed. Do you know about that?.

I have used it twice but it can be very messy lol I prefer, and definitely recommend, putting a pillow under you after sex to keep your hips elevated for at least 15 minutes. I did that twice and ended up pregnant with my son :)
