Ladies I want to start doing more with Skyla. I bought her an aqua pen set and she just eats the pen…

Paint? Finger paint? Messy play? Baby groups? Maya loves playing with her train set. How about a football? Maya loves to play catch and kick a ball xx

@winterbaby95 I will have a look for some paint. I've tried baby groups she hates them I'd love to do a one on one so she can get used to other kids first but I dno where to start. We play football in the house she kicks it around but she gets bored lol I will defo try the messy play. Thank you x

Sand if you don't mind the mess you can get magic sand too xx

@mum2sky lola was the same at that age. She hated baby groups but I just persevered and eventually she got used to it. It dod fake a few weeks though. Toy wise at that age she wasnt interested in much, she hated drawing and dolls etc. She loves drawing now though. Have you got any outside space with paving? They sell chalks in wilkos and i just let lola go mad and draw on the ground. Also if you dnt mind mess, put her in a big cardboard box with paints or pens and let her draw all over it. Another one lola loves is when i cover the table in baby powder and she draws in it with her finger.

@kayteamay yeah I'm going to make a go of the baby groups again next week. She just screams and I got some funny looks last time I went so I'm nervous lol I have no outside space unfortunately I'm in a block but I will definitely try the box and table idea thank you x

This stuff just over a tenner in argos it doesn't stick to your hands or carpet ECT and never dries out it says 3plus but if your playing with her I'm sure it's okay. You can get moulds and little sand cutlery my daughter had it good fun xx @mum2sky

Sand/water play. Just add cups and maybe fairy liquid for extra fun. Playdough. Shaving foam and baking soda makes fake snow. Freeze small toys in ice and play with it as it melts. Or just leaves/ twigs etc. Painting with hands. None messy activities. Just empty boxes/ pans. Collect different things which she can sort into the boxes etc. Morgan never really actually played with toys until he was a bit older. He liked to climb and crawl. So might be using what she likes doing and find something child friendly around that! We'd make dens, take all the cushions off the sofa for him to climb over etc lol

@erincharlie1226 the thing is I would invest in this stuff but skyla literally puts everything in her mouth so I dno if she's still too young for this. But I will definitely keep it in mind thanks hun x

I literally just bought Ava a aqua doodle peppa pig set and she just try’s to suck the water out of the pen 🙈, trying to encourage her to draw but it’s not working lol, you could do finger painting of painting with sponges? Take her to messy plays? Xx

Have you got the app called 'mush' its great for playdates the same age as your little one. Maybe you could find a local play date a similar age if she isn't keen on big groups, and go somewhere she might like... I teach in a nursery/primary school and all our ideas come from pintrest, it has some great ideas. X

The 'hoop' app is also good for structured play events, like music, singing, messy play, 🕺 . They have an outdoor creative and exploring class in my local RSPB Park which I can't wait to take Eddie to when he is a little older x
