Baby should be latching every 2-3 hours morning and night, if he's not latching then you can pump instead for 20 min. The hour with the intervals, power pump, you can do once a day but personally I wouldn't do it more than that cuz it'll just make you sore.
@_sheriee I'm just going by what the nurse told me yesterday they aren't sore right now so imma keep pumping to see and if it does get sore I'll cut back some
Can you contact a lactation consultant instead? WIC has them free and so does La Leche League. Good luck ❤ I started to dry out around 4 months with my first but was able to relactate later on with help from the LC.
@_sheriee I have the Mandela electric pump they let me use for a month to see how I would do with that BC my manual pump does absolutely nothing she gave me different recipes that will also help but right now the beer is doing a good job so far

Are you exclusively pumping? How often?

@_sheriee yeah I am pump 10 mins rest 10 for a hour. I eat in between them and drink plenty of water

But you're only pumping for that one hour on and off all day?

@momof3guys I'm looking to get the Mandela pump as well. Hopefully can get it through my insurance. :)
