I managed to get to 38 weeks! So just means I get two months full pay now for maternity and a little more time at home with baby! Thanks for all your support everyone it got me. Through the last couple of weeks!

Thank you everyone for your experiences. It has helped but I'm still confused as what to do! I found out they can force you onto maternity if you taken any absence from week 36 onwards. I think I might push myself to see how it goes. Please keep your fingers crossed for me!

Till week 38. I had an easy pregnancy but after 38th week I was really heavy & uncomfortable. For next baby I may stop at week 37.

I was planning on going at 38 weeks but I couldn’t last that long so went at 37, good job I did as baby was born at 38 weeks lol. X

@sara-lou86 i work on the phones and it isn't physical at all but being on the pc and talking all day is really draining. There are a lot of complex issues as well because I work in shares. Maybe I need to just man up lol

Guess it depends on your job and how your pregnancy is going. I have a very physical job so I was getting tired. Back was playing up etc but nothing too bad. Just had to slow down and remember to take a breath sometimes! Lol

@sara-lou86 I really want to work as late as possible too. Maternity pay is terrible! I'm just worried I won't be able to handle it

I worked till 38 weeks first time. Wished I worked longer as I was late & got bored. Stopped at 35weeks 2nd time which was just about right 🤗

I wasnt working. But was at college until 35 weeks :) Felt like that was a good time to leave x
