Anybody else missed their 3rd period after giving birth ??

After I gave birth I didn't have my period for almost 9 months! I was also nursing. When I did get my period I had it a month , missed a month, had it again, ended up pregnant and had a miscarriage, had my period again after that and waiting now to see if it comes. So I'm assuming it's normal. Nothing to worry about. That's what I was told.
