Anyone else’s 1 year old still drink formula? My son still drinks about 32 ounces a day. He eats food 3 times a day but doesn’t eat very much at all and is very limited to what he can eat. He will eat Cheerios, bananas cut in small pieces, sweet potatoes in small pieces, broccoli in small pieces. He doesn’t eat very much at a time. For example for breakfast he will eat half of a banana or half of an avocado and that is it. He will eat Gerber stage 3 foods and will eat the whole 5oz jar for the most part. Anyone else in the same boat or have suggestions to get him to eat more.

try giving him a little of a couple different things like a sample platter but just a small amount of each that's what we did w my little brother he was the same way
@gracelynnsmama, thanks. He was eating that and I decided to try Quaker instant oatmeal but he won’t eat that. I think I’ll buy some loner gerber and see if he will still eat it.

My daughter is 13 months old. We do 20oz of toddler formula a day instead of whole milk. She has water in between. Cereal for breakfast about 2 hours after her bottle. Prefers state 2 food to our food. Has food meals and a snack a day besides her milk

My sons two and still is so picky and hardly eats. I know how frustrating it can be.
Yeah, they know. We will discuss it more at his next appointment which is next month and make a new game plan. I just wish he would eat like other babies. He does much better than he used to. He used to gag on everything even puffs. Maybe he will be eating more by than. He is very healthy over the 50th percentile so for now they just want me to keep trying

@caseysmommy92, he is on similac alimentum. The doctors are keeping him on it until 15months and we will try milk just an ounce and see what happens. He can’t drink milk based formula. All he does is scream. He might have food allergies that affect his GI system which typically don’t show up positive on allergy tests. He also doesn’t eat yogurt or cheese. He may be allergic to other foods as well. He gets bad stomach aches, diaper rash and reflux.
@lizibear84, I only give him the stage 3 food once a day. Sometimes every other day. He definitely would rather eat that than table food.
Hes probly not eating much due to still getting formula. Is there a reason why hes still on it?
My son is 16 months, and for the most part still prefers his pouches to real food. But he’s off formula unless he’s sick. I just stopped offering puréed food as a meal. He can have them after if he’s still hungry, but he has to eat at least half of what I give him
Is it normal that Harrison doesn’t really eat finger foods that much? I’ve always done a mixture of purées and finger food but to be honest he just plays with finger foods and doesn’t really eat them. He LOVES purées and eats loads of puréed foods. He still doesn’t have teeth yet. Could that be why he won’t eat finger food? He’s 8 and a half months and still no sign of teeth😕 Is that normal too?

Does anyone that doesn't drink cows milk still eat cheese, yogurt, ice cream, etc?
horrible baby shower no gifts, no one came so I left came home, his family is now there eating and drinking on us and still no gifts... waste of time money and food

Anyone else’s baby not fitting into their newborn clothes!? Lol. She’s a month old and was 6lbs 7oz at birth, now is more than 7lbs and STILL doesn’t fit into her newborn clothes.
