Any ideas where to get proper walking shoes for a 1 year old as she's becoming more confident at walking. Not to dear as…

At this age they grow out of them so so quickly that I feel like clarks is pointless. I just make sure to buy shoes that aren't heavy soled, light weight trainers, so he isn't tumbling all over them. Mines been walking since 9 months and he's gone up 3 sizes since then. I'm on the hunt now during the sales for the next pair. I had my eye on some next trainers, but went into sales too late :( ooh also have a look in tkmax you'll get good quality but better price, hard to find sizes tho.

Ah right so it shows you shoes can be allsorts of fitments now can't they never heard of the wide fit, standard fit etc haha. I'll definitely go get her sized when I'm near a shop don't live near one so sure I'll remember when I next see one. I don't want to be paying alot of money when they are gonna get trashed and grow out of them quick so even if I have to pay several cheap pairs than just £30 for just one pair xx

I'd go and get her measured Harvey was measured in Clark's as a 4 1/2 f so he has wide fit this was 3 months ago xx he's a size 5 now in slippers and trainers but probably be going into a 5.5 soon and a size 6 in wellies xx each shop is different too xx

@xxjadeleannebxx I wouldn't as slippers are bigger and wider different material. U can go to Clarks or any street shoe shop with a foot measure xxx

@xxjadeleannebxx, I got McKenzies from sports direct, little Nike ones they got girl ones too xx

I've seen some on ebay for £6 proper sole on too could get her a few pairs haha but if her slippers fit shouldn't I go by them. Do I go any shoe shop for her to get her size checked xxx

I think even the Primark early days have proper soles on now for babies too xxx

@xxjadeleannebxx what id do is get her feet measured when she's ready to walk outside then perhaps see if they have them on eBay either new or used I mean they grow out of them in a few weeks xxx

Yeah that's what i thought I've seen some on mother care for £15 not to bad but not to sure on her size she has size 4 in slippers so does that mean she's a size 4 jnr in shoes? Xxx

Hey with the sales on Clarks might be the best quality not sure if they are still in fashion though lol xxx
