@lauren-goodman, yeah induction was put ofd until 9am she came at 4.04am was 58 minute labour she practically flew out 🙈

@jodiec, hopefully baby proves me wrong and comes out a nice little 8lb 🤞🏻😂🙈did you manage to have a natural birth ? X

I was the same baby measuring big previous baby 10lb 6oz so I had a stretch and sweep on the monday induction started on the friday had the pessery and the gel and 2 more stretch and sweeps spent the whole weekend in the hoapital only to be sent home back on the Wednesday for another sweep booked back in for a induction attempt on the friday was 39 3 days got to the ward no rooms free on labour ward so couldnt start me off until 9am Saturday morning but she decided to come naturally at 4.04 sat morning i tried everything pineappl sex nipple stimulation walking birthing ball not a thing worked she was just waiting for her time to come 😩😩 she was big 9lb 6oz but the scan 2 days before said she was 8lb 4oz so i dont think there very accurate xx

I was induced for my second and third babies, different reasons each fine but has good experiences with both. Very fast labours. So don’t be too down on getting induced, not always horror stories x

@lauren-goodman with the first i had the pessary put in at 10am. It was a bit uncomfortable but over in seconds and went into labour at 2am. My daughter was born 40 minutes later. With my second daughter i had the pessary put in at 12pm and went into labour at around 10pm but things when i bit wrong so i had a csection but that was nothing to do with being induced. I never had a drip for my inductions. With an induction as you are forcing your body to go into labour so the contractions can be a bit more painful but your labour can be very quick x

Sex, long walks, up and down stairs, bounce on a birthing ball! Good luck xx

@lauren-goodman, my waters broke the day before, but from when they started the drip, I gave birth 5 hours later, so was quick!x

@hayleyf, doesn't sound like a nice birth ;( 🙈hoping I go into labour naturally x

@lauren-goodman, yeah you have the drip into your hand chick, they then turn it up every half an hour to help you dilate, si contractions gradually get stronger and then turn it off when you are fully dilated x

@kayteamay, how did you find the pessary ? X

@kayteamay, do you have to have a needle in your hand for the drip? X

@lauren-goodman ive had the pessary twice and it worked both times first time. It takes a while to start you off though so its a bit of a boring wait x

@lauren-goodman, I had the drip as my waters had broken but labour wasn’t starting, so I can try to answer any questions about that if you have them, I’m sure there are other ladies who have had the pessary if you have any questions about that part?x

@hayleyf, they will insert a tablet kind of thing on the vagina and if nothing's happened within 12 hours they will insert another tablet. They repeat for a third time if nothing's happened. It can take upto 3 days for it to work and bring on labour, then they break your waters and put you on a drip x

@lauren-goodman hun I wouldn't worry at least your lil one will arrive unfortunately there is nothing you can do to bring on labour it's all a myth baby will come naturally if baby wants xx

@lauren-goodman, what did he say? Do you know how you will be induced, like the pessary or by drop?x

@hayleyf, when the doctor was explaining everything to me, it didn't sound too nice. He explained the worse case scenario which I think has now sent me into panic mode x

Why are you nervous about being induced? Do u know how they will induce u?x
