My nipples were a little raw the first few days and it did hurt a bit then when he would latch. But by the 3rd or 4th day they were completely healed. And as long as your baby’s got a good latch nothing should hurt after that.
@damiensmommy1117, I think I’ll be fine😌😌hopefully lol
@morgan.k, so it should only hurt if baby isn’t latched on? I’ve heard other mommas say that too
It doesn't hurt when my son latches on and it hasn't hurt since I was a few days post partum, but my nipples just needed to get used to it. Now it's fine. 🙂
@badadvicemom, I hope me pumping makes mine used to also😫😫😫
@morgan.k, so basically like pumping for the first few mins it hurts a lil than the pain kinda just goes away?
@kiracox123 it didn't hurt with my son really. They had already gotten "numb" and used to from pumping.
@badadvicemom, yes I’ve been pumping for two weeks str8 but baby’s coming home Friday and I’m bout to put him on my breast and some moms are telling it hurts at first
I'll be honest, it's been almost 2 years and I was on a whole bunch of pain meds so I couldn't tell you what it felt like. I just remember it feeling awkward and uncomfortable. With my son I could only pump at first so everything was already pretty used to it
@badadvicemom, does the sucking feel like the first few mins of pumping? Than you really don’t feel it anymore?
It only hurt if the baby not latching properly. You can also try nipple shields it helps the baby latch.
