Im currently going through a hard time and need some advice or someone to talk to. I found out i was pregnant with my 2nd baby last week. Very early only around 3 weeks. Christmas eve i did another test and it came back clear positive. Christmas day i began to bleed. Went to the hospital today and they did a pregnancy test and that came back negative. They have told me to go to my gp tomorrow for bloods. Has anyone had this and still been pregnant and the baby been okay after a bleed and period pains?

I had this the month before i conceived my first daughter. I had positive tests but then started bleeding. I had blood tests taken and my hormone levels dropped. They told me it was a chemical pregnancy. I hadnt actually conceived but my body thought i had so i had pregnancy hormones which was why i had positive tests (if that makes sense) I conceived my daughter a month later

@kayteamay i went to see the doctor today at the hospital and they never said anything like that. They did a test there and said it was negative and that i needed blood tests. I've used first response tests and got told they pick up earlier then hospital tests do x

@chloenettle28 blood tests are definitely more accurate. Your hormone levels are higher in the morning so if you took your tests early then thats why they probably picked them up and the hospital one didnt. Definitely go for blood tests. X

@kayteamay im going tomorrow for bloods. I just hope they pick something up and tell me bleeding is normal x
