Some women even say that natural birth was better than having an epidural

The only thing my epidural has affected is my back hurting when I jump on a trampoline but that was 4mo pp so it could be different now

It seems so scary but it’s the most amazing experience ❤️ get the epidural !! Lol (you don’t actually have to but with the epidural I felt nothing at all it was a breeze also they don’t just stick you with a big ass needle they numb you first you don’t even feel it)

At hospital now they told me prepare myself

Honestly it’s not bad at all I loved every second of it I would do it a million times if I could but just gotta be aware since you are planning for the epidural you need to tell them when you get there since it can take awhile for them to give it to you since you need fluid and the anesthesiologist may have csections and things so beware of that my friend didn’t tell them until the pain got to where she couldn’t handle it and she had to wait two hours being in bad pain

I plan on the epidural, I have a high heart rate called “arrhythmia” where my heart rate goes up randomly and I’ve been told the epidural could help that and keep my calm . But really ? That’s great lol . Yea most people say the contractions is the hard part and the birth (pushing) isn’t that bad

Are you planing on doing a natural birth or having pain medication? Either is fine but you will need to prepare yourself for whichever you choose I had a vaginal birth but got an epidural at 8cm I wanted natural but I didn’t prepare so I had to get it but it wasn’t bad at all I was up walking right after they cleaned me all up since I had to pee😂😂😂

@pocahontas22 spinal tap wouldn't take. I wasn't able to have a vaginal birth. They wouldn't let my mom in there with me. So I'm hoping this birth I can at least have my husband there.

@mrshammond17, omg you are brave. I am so terrified to be cut on I don’t want to unless I really just have to.. but really ? Some people hurt and some don’t , I’m surprised they put you to sleep, why is that? Because most people are awake

@pocahontas22 I had a section and I don't remember much I was put to sleep. I had 21 Staples. It did hurt when they had to change my pad

I was the same way. And even tho I've gone through birth once I'm terrified again haha
