When do you moms know to take baby to the doctor? I took my son so much when he was a newborn I kind of only want to take my new baby in if she has a fever. So far she has no fever just a hoarse cough and a little mucus.

I just go by instincts. Sometimes when my son has a fever or is sick I won’t take him at all if I now I can handle it. I know with newborns you have to be careful but it’s how you feel.

Girl, that's your baby, you take them 100 times a day if you feel you need to!! You can never be too careful.

@starr86, I use to take my son in for any little thing and eventually the doctor told me to only bring him in if he had a fever

What?! That's crazy! I'm a paranoid mom and if I feel like my baby needs to be seen by a doctor then I'm gonna take them. Even if it turns out that nothing is wrong, at least my mind will be at ease and I won't go crazy.

I would take her in my son three months and I went to the er they said they couldnt do anything since he had no infection and she smaller but follow your instincts
