Low blood sugar is no joke! 😖 Apparently didn't have enough sugar in my system yesterday to last me over night and I slept in til 11. Kept having to sit down in the shower as I felt shaky and weak. Got a quick chocolate and gronola bar when I got out to help so I could fix something to eat. But then had to sit down on the floor after making my husband some sandwiches as I started to get tunnel vision. Sipping on some juice now as I recover so hopefully I'll have enough sugar in my system to actually make me something to eat. Lol

@jessicavillanueva92, that’s so good that you have glucose tabs on hand! I’m type one and those have been life savers on numerous accounts! Glad you know how to treat a low and what to look for!
@martinajjones I'm not, my blood sugar just drops if I haven't eaten in so many hours. Luckily we have diabetic supplies and keep juice around because my brother is so I can just grab his glucose tablets in the flavors he doesn't like for a quick sugar boost. Lol

At what age do you think a child should be making their own breakfast? I have a 10 year old and I think he is perfectly capable of making himself breakfast. It doesn't take rocket science to put some waffles into the toaster, or microwave some pancakes. My husband insists that he needs to have breakfast made for him because if we left it up to him he wouldn't eat enough and it would take him forever.
I have my glucose test tomorrow, my doctor told me to make sure I eat something, no carbs or sugar. What would be the best thing to eat for breakfast?

@martinajjones I love them, they're pretty much giant sweet tarts. 😂 my brother hardly uses them though, he would rather go grab ice cream or actual candy. He is type one as well so we keep a good stock pile of items for lows.
