Breastfeeding mommas, how long did you breastfeed for? How did you/do you plan to do the whole transition from boob to food?
I definitely dont want to be breastfeeding when my babes got teeth lol i was going to try the cereal stuff. Idk i just know its going to be hard
@pnutbutta Claudia did the same at that age! Then around 1yr, she opened up more. She still is wary around new people .. but there's no crying.
I am a strong believer in how wire my lil one's brain ... and how to deal with her emotions and stress. Her NEEDS do not warrant stress or emotions when possible.
@pnutbutta I am taking the super slow approach! Lol. Why stress them out or yourself is my theory.. especially if you have time and patience for it.
I’ve also started transitioning my son off the breast ., he still likes the breast to fall asleep but during the night when he wakes for it I give him a bottle of water and cuddle him back to sleep, it’s been working but it’s hard cuz he still cries for the boob . @charliesmommy17,
@pnutbutta she falls and pulls off .. some naps I just lay with her or transition her off.
She still wakes once for comfort .. but her teeth (molars) have been hellish so everything we have been doing as been turned upside down for now 😒
I still breastfeed to fall asleep .. slowly cutting it out. It is only for the few minutes before sleep ... twice a day .. sometimes once.
Just be warned it can be pretty emotional. I was struggling with this a lot. I start work at 4:30 am and breastfeeding was pretty difficult. I started to give him breast milk and water in his bottle just to get him used to it and also at about 4 1/2 mons started letting him try some solids. But you need a pretty good schedule.. if you want to DM me I can let you know how I switched. He’s finally on formula now.. but I don’t think my breast milk was enough for him. So now I feel pretty emotional. He had his first sleep over and also 24 hours with no boob at all, not even for comfort and when he came back home I felt detached. I’m still sorting through it but I can let you know what I did if you still want some help.. only good thing is I can finally get some sleep. And now I just breastfeed him like once a day just for bonding/comfort for him. Although it hurts me cause he has teeth now. 😩
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...

Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are...
