It’s taken me a while to talk about what happen to my baby back on September😔 As a mom I feel guilty and I feel it was my fault. So back on September 3rd my baby woke up with swollen eyes (but usually when she gets sick (which she washer eyes are either watery, the look sad or red. ) I didn’t give it much importance. The following day her eyes and lips looked super dried and red. I went to buy her eczema lotion for her little face, the following day was so bad we took her to the ER where we took almost 5 hours and they told us it was eczema but the “doctor “ didn’t even try getting neither her or any blood sample. And accuse my husband and I of physically hitting her ! So I took pictures of her every day to have proof of anything was to happen. We had a follow up appointment Two days later and they told it was an infection and gave us steroids for her. I was hoping to see at least a little of improvement by the day. (Mind you not she had bumps all over her body she was so fragile when touching her) The following day her face was so bad it hurt me to see her and I wouldn’t let anyone see her only my intimate family because of how bad she look. My mistake was I send a photo to my auntie and she laughed and said what’s wrong with her. So I called my hubby crying that I wanted to take her another er. We let traffic calm because it would take us 1 hour to get there when usually would take us 20 mins. She couldn’t be in the car seat for so long since she was so itchy she would yell in pain😭😭 I felt like the worst mom. When they saw my daughter they admitted her right away saying she need really strong iv antibiotics if not she was going to get worst😭 I remember seeing her cry in pain, her little innocent face, they controlled her pain in less the 12 hours but they didn’t know exactly what she had until 2 days later after being admitted to the hospital. It was a bacteria under her skin that was attacking her strong . I remember crying and feeling guilty she was hospitalized for 5 days but we got rid of the bacteria 🙏🏽🙏🏽 Now she is way better and happy ❤️❤️ but it was the hardest moment we lived. Now she so healthy and back to herself now when I see something wrong I call her pediatrician right away. She is my everything and I don’t wish any parent the pain we had seeing our baby in pain for almost 8 days 😔😔
