Aw, I wish I still lived in VA. I'm a little older than you, but I know how hard it is to go through, especially if you have kids. 😔

Does his command have an FRG? There usually are other wives running the group for get togethers, support, and whatnot.

:( I wish I was still in VA. We could hang out. Have you found anyone you really click with in your FRG group?

Even check out Facebook groups. We had a couple wives groups for my husband's ship and the FRG leaders ran one of them and would setup get togethers at parks or for lunch or dinner.

I don’t have a Facebook 😭 and I still live in my home state I haven’t moved to the base yet

Ah. :( well maybe setup an account just for that so you can connect with some of the ladies ahead of time. It really helps! Also look up militarysos it's a forum that has a lot of wonderful support. :) I even met a few people on there that ended up being at my husbands station so we got to meet up and hang out once I moved up there. One even helped me in finding my job I did while there. Lol

Are you planning on moving while he's deployed or waiting til he returns?

@maverickandjosiah060516 I would check out Facebook or militarysos then for support. I did the same when my husband was deployed. Moved back home til a month or two before he returned so I could get our apartment and everything setup.
