Rant/Vent

Went to my boyfriend’s grandma’s house for a Xmas dinner, his family is religious except him he’s buddhist and I’m not religious at all. So his family circles around and they hold hands to say their prayers before serving the food and his aunt tells me “give me your hand” I politely say no thank you then she say “wat you’re not religious?” I say no and the she says ” you’ll live you just won’t live every long” then they pray and all that. Later on my boyfriend and I are sitting at the couch and she comes up to us and says “oh don’t get mad me I was just joking with you” I just nodded my head. The comment was uncalled for but watever I’m use to people not liking that I don’t believe in their god and it’s watever to me cuz I’m not believe in something just cuz other people think I should, wat really pisses me off is that she said she was joking and I’ve only seen her once before at a different party therefore she’s still a stranger for the most part so to me that wasn’t a joke and I really wanted to knock her ass out like you are not gonna disrespect me and my beliefs and then tell me not to get mad at you cuz it’s a joke.No bitch stay in your lane along with your disrespectful jokes cuz next time I may not be so calm.💆🏽‍♀️
