Hey girls I had my 20 week scan the other day they didn't do any 3d or 4d imaging is this something that has to be covered through insurance or is it something they do later in the pregnancy???

Insurances don’t cover 3D/4D, you have to pay for it if you want one.

In my state they usually have to have a medical reason for the 3d/4d ultrasounds to be covered through your insurance. I had to pay to get mine done through a private elective ultrasound facility. Was worth the money! They have different packages to choose from as well that ranges in prices.

I’ve always had Medicaid during pregnancy, and all my docs usually gave me at least one, this doc however has done several and has done several scans, but that’s just because he is really nice and doesn’t charge me or my insurance for them.
