Ive had to keep Noah off this week from nursery as hes had a weird temperture all up and down and so unsettled on a night time. Got all sorts of guilt going on when i really shouldnt! Hes missed his last day at nursery and im ditching work at the busiest time 🙈 doesnt help im going to be going into work tonight to do a shop haha. It really does suck having no family support around to help out, even for the little things 😕

If work are annoyed then thats their issue. Companies need to realise, staff with children will most definitely be off at some point. I've been back to work 10months after having Max & so far both my boys have had chicken pox within 2weeks of each other. Hand foot & mouth, sickness bugs etc. I do feel guilty but then I remember, at the end of the day my children come first. We also don't have anyone near by to help out so it cuts into our wages if we have to take time off. Part of being a parent I guess!

@sara-lou86 aww my work have been great with me taking time off for Noah, i just hate people having to do it for me 🙈 its just a little guilt that sits with me if i take time off lol. But yeah its the same with us knowing we have nobody around and having to think about the wages the next month is hard! But agree comes with the package and ill get over the guilt ☺ xx

I always have a twinge of guilt. We have to keep to certain ratios so it get a stressful if we're short staffed but then I just remind myself I'd be making things worse keeping them at nursery! I don't get any sick days so if I'm off I loose a days pay and still have to pay for their nursery day so it's a double wammy. I only call when they have something catching or really poorly! Lol

@sara-lou86 aww yeah i could imagine! Yeah mine goes unpaid or i choose a holiday day to swap which isnt bad until you want a holiday lol. I agree if i sent him in and someone else got ill id feel even worse! Id rather him be at home too so i know hes getting better to because hes a nightmare when ill! Id love him to just sit but he forces himself to play lol
