Well I didn’t get my glucose test done today😑😑 my doctors office just wrote me a note and wants me to go to a lab to get my blood done because I have difficult veins. The only person that was able to ever get blood from me there moved away. So I went hungry all day for nothing. I’m not going to get it done till next week because I want sweets for Christmas

That sucks! I remember it took 4 different techs to get a vein on me & they only managed on the back of my hand😣

@momma_dee, ugh that’s terrible! I’m kinda glad they didn’t do it because I would hate to drink the drink then them realize they can’t get a vein

@kcamps, omg youre right. Some tips to get a vein is to stay hydrated (when dehydrated the veins sink, making it harder to find) & staying warm, heat rises the vein closer to the surface

@momma_dee, I drank so much water today I’ve never seen my pee so clear😂 they didn’t even try because everybody in the office knows mine are difficult. When I go to the labs here they get it in one poke so I guess it’s better I just go there
