I have an issue with my mother in law thinking she is the parent of our child. She also thinks that if she does something I don’t like and now don’t trust her watching her or going anywhere with her alone that I have no right to feel that way because she has raised two boys.
We tell her please do not feed her sweets before she has had her lunch/dinner and as soon as we turn our back she gives it to her and yells at us because we told her no and it’s not that big of a deal.
She believes that we should give our daughter full blown spankings at only a year old and that she’s going to be a horrible child because of lack of discipline. Also her husband slammed on the breaks while I was in the car because he was mad. (My husbands family constantly fight and yell).
Sorry for the rant but I guess my question is how do I get her to back off and see the things she is doing is not okay and I have every right to feel the way I do.
@mommyto2girls2018, I’ve been putting my foot down and she doesn’t like it at all but still doesn’t get the hint her and her husband keep pointing the finger at me and say it’s all my fault and I’m just greedy, selfish, and self centered and at one point my husband kept telling me that I’m having a power trip with our daughter

Transgender children

They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are...

@alyssa5792, I’m personally done going around her and now she is saying it is up to us to make sure our daughter gets to know her and that we always have to bring her to there house to see them and that they are sick of trying to be a part of someone’s life that I supposedly don’t want her apart of. She just don’t get it
