Has anyone here ever had to cut off a toxic friend? I love her and we've been friends since kindergarten but she's got so much negative energy. I just stopped talking to her and she caught on because she messaged me saying ,"I see how it is, have a nice life."
I feel bad, I really do. I just don't know how to handle it. She's not a good example for me or my kids. I don't agree with her lifestyle choices. She's got two little girls and she isn't thinking of them first...

I let go of my bf since kindergarten as well bc i found out she was talking rudly when i wasnt around for getting pregnant while still in high school. One of the best decisions ive made. My kids dont need to have two faced people around and neither did i.
Sometimes people don’t think they are doing anything wrong unless someone tells them.
I say if you two were besties. Let her know what she’s doing wrong. How you feel and that you would rather see her do good! If she’s a real friend she won’t get hurt. She’ll have an open mind and understand. If she’s not a real friend then she’ll get hurt and your work is done!
Well that's not good thing to have in ur life. U need to think of ur life n ur kid's life. Ur doing a good thing. Don't think it doing a bad thing cause ur not. I had to move to a new place n I'm not telling anyone where I'm at. I'm keeping my positive people in my life n I cut off the negative one. Good to for u girl. I'm here if u need to talk. It’s a hard place to be... but it sounds like you are making the best choices for you and your family... I have a similar ‘friend’, sometimes you have to love someone from a distance... I just continue to remind myself that you are the same as the 10 people you spend the most time with... which makes me evaluate the people I’m closest to very carefully... because I want my daughters to grow up without certain negative influences... I even apply the same logic to family, we can love them from a distance and make sure their negativity does not pollute our family

I can't take it anymore! Haley (yes my 1mth old and no I wasn't able to go through this "joy" of nursing my older daughter, Molly) has been screaming non stop for 6hrs!
