Well I found out apparently it's all right and everything so I asked well can we be moved to a cheaper place as we can't afford it and your putting us at risk and she was dead snobby with me and said no there isn't anywhere else apart from one place which is a lil cheaper but risks my partner job so can't win, I need go to CAB at some point today and see if they can suggest doing something

Wow that's so expensive I rent a 3 bed house and it's £550 a month. Glad I don't live in London I couldn't afford to live

No because of my partners pay, we can't get anything, I have said if there wanting pay me that much, put me in a one bedroom flat so I actually have a home for my family and baby girl on the way xx

Exactly I don't know what to do, and I don't need this stress but I don't seem to be getting anywhere, keep getting told the price isnt right but they don't seem be doing anything about it and keep getting told I will talk to such a body and then don't hear anything back xx

Up north you can get a decent 2 bedroom house up to £400-£500 on rent or mortgage lol xx

I have asked the hotel manager and he said it's the council that comes up with the prices, they don't even know how much it's costs to live here so it can't be the hotel xx

@stephenhampson453 it is for temporary accommodation I never said it's right on how much it cost your question was does it sound right..and I said yes it is I have lived in temporary accommodation a year ago it's not the council it's the bnb that charges that much it's disgusting I know

£1800pm sounds right for temporary accommodation where they put homeless people? :/ Don't think so...... I can get a 2 bedroom flat in Worthing for just under £800pm my partner only earn 1300pm and we need months worth of food and still need baby stuff and babys milk ect it just would never happen we would always be in debt x

That sounds right for temporary accommodation it's stupidly expensive our council are giving out 1 bed flats to people instead of bnb because it's costing way to much xx

Not right now no unfortunately, unless the council can do something but doubt that one and I'm not by any chance paying that much, not a chance, we wouldn't be able feed ourselves for a month and get baby stuff and feed the baby just wouldn't happen at all xx

Jesus that's alot to pay out! we pay £580 mortgage for a 3 bed semi detached in Scotland, in England where some of my family live in 2 or 3 bed houses they pay £400 to £560 rent, how do they expect you to be able to pay that it's crazy money!? x

I'm in temporary accommodation in London and it's 1200 a month for a 1 bed under housing association. When I was in the b&b before this it was the same price for just the room! They don't give 2 bedrooms here until your child is 7 unfortunately and they won't move you into a 2 bed definitely not before the babies one because you guys can all share a room :( x

Oh crikey!! Tell them you want a 2 bed house or even 1 bed house! Try g on the waiting list it’ll take a while but will be worth it you’ll save so much and have more room, it’ll be classed as over crouded their soon anyways! Xx

That is wayyy too much, we pay £1200 for a 3 bedroom house, in our previous place we paid £960 for a 2 bedroom house, you can find something way better for a lot cheaper, what you're paying now is absolutely ridiculous should have a mansion for that money xx
