I wish my boyfriend realized just because he has a "9-5" job, and I dont (because I'm on maternity leave), doesn't mean I'm not working too. Taking care of a newborn is hard freakin work.
@mommiesaremagical14 exactly. But that's another point. Some people don't even take time to get to know someone's situation before speaking. Ignorance!
@chansamp Yeah, she's an ignorant bitch. After that comment I don't even at her anymore. If she ever came to me with an emergency (unless it has to do with her DD) I'll shut my door in her face. It's a shame she knows nothing about my life. If she even knew about my past and the things I've done, what I gave up she never would have said that
@chansamp it's not just men either. A while back my neighbor who has a daughter my DDs age who works 4 hours a day 5 days a week said to me about her and the other mommy neighbor (these 2 are besties) (I've known the other longer then the mom I'm talking about) "we are mom's and we both work. We deserve to go out." Translation: your a sahm, your "jobs" not hard, you don't deserve friends, you don't deserve to go out and enjoy yourself. You don't need/deserve a break your at home all day.
@mommiesaremagical14 You are exactly right. He literally said yesterday he had some emails to send. I wish all I had to do was send some freakin emails. Ugh. Men. Lol
If your very lucky he will but don't be surprised if he doesnt. My experience not only as a mother but a fulltime SAHM you don't do nothing but sit around all day eating bon bons and watching soap operas. Yet the house is clean, laundrys done, kids are happy, healthy, fed and bathed, dinners on the table, doc and done, phone calls made, errands run yet you do nothing all day. He may work a 9-5 5 days a week but your working at least 15-18 hours a day 7 days a week.
